What is status? Status changed to “in progress” 8 months ago?

There are current no support on AC charge points for this, and also a lot of the DC charge points neither yet.

We have done all the ground work, we need to decide on setting up a certification server or using hubjects. From that point it should be done.

Hard to say ETA when very few hardware providers actually have it running, maybe q3

Still not forgotten. We have done most of the work, certificate server is missing and then some charge points :)

Any news on this progress? we can test it out
i see that the new ABB Terra 360 also supports this new.abb.com/ev-charging/terra-360 "Plug & Charge functionality"

and hubject has alot on it www.hubject.com/plug-and-charge

We can go with hubject fairly simple, but will be around 1 euro per vehicle per year. So we are looking at a different solution.

Same time we saw that no AC chargers atm supports it. So its pushed a bit in roadmap

Ahh oki, i think ebee comes with OCPP 2.0.1 and ISO 15118 support www.ebee.berlin/products/chargespot/ also Charge-Amps AURA should have ISO 15118 support

Great! To start charging with this option would be super, then its a nobrainer to start a charge as long as your car supports it.
Its the newest ISO 15118-20 not older versions that should be used
www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:std:iso:15118:-8:ed-2:v1:en

VW id.4 supports it so testing should be possible

Also for now Porsche Taycan, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Lucid Air (according to Electrify America)
