The gen 3 is connected but not following any open standards. We are in dialog with Tesla on how an integration should be.

Does Monta Integration work at the moment? I have many sites with them and the connection failes on the attempt to approve it in Tesla app. Basically nothing happens.
Hello. Now that the "electricity reimbursement" for chargers with external bi-meters is coming to an end in Denmark. Is there any chance of Tesla's gen3 charger being approved by you and ultimately meeting Skat's rules? It will be a bummer to sell a well-functioning original charger and buy a non-original, only to find out 3 months later that you have found a solution.
Hi Søren. It's been specified here: skat.dk/skat.aspx?oid=2303739. Basically, Skat is saying that it's never been allowed to use bi-meters as per the Lov af 2012-12-21 nr. 1353, where it's specified that "måleren skal være placeret i ladestanderen."
Interesting reading, but I'm unsure how this actually fits into this context. My understanding is that this would just reduce the amount of applicable chargers in the market, since they'll have to sport an approved internal MID classified meter, which I'm guessing the Tesla Wall Charger doesn't have, right? I'm guessing that would leave us as we currently are.
As you can read, I know nothing but are very curious, so I'm happy to be educated here.
What about a piece of software installed on customer's premises that acts as a server (with auth layer on top) and forwards requests to the local wifi reverse engineered Tesla charger API?
Or just a button in Monta app ("Send Tesla charger statistics") that when clicked first asks you to confirm that you're on your home network where your Tesla charger is connected. If confirmed, it fetches the charger usage using the reverse engineered API and then sends those usage statistics to Monta servers?
Home assistant has an integration to Tesla wallbox. Could it be a solution to create an integration to HA and through that make a bridge to the locally connected charger and push the data to Monta that way?
Right now there is a community which have reversed engineered the api, but its local on wifi and not public meaning we cannot base our solution on it yet.

Anyone who knows how to make it work?
Can you ADD Tesla Wall Chargers to your integration?

Do you have any sources for these claims? I’m very curious as this is news to me :)
Danish sources are okay.

Skat has also given a 'Vejledende udtalelse' to one of our clients with the same answer.

Thanks, Rune!

Hi,
If/When the support for tesla wall charger gen. 3 comes will it support "electricity reimbursement" feature in Denmark?
For electricity reimbursements the charger needs to have an MID classified meter. From what I can see, the 3. gen does not have that unfortunately.
Are there any MID classified meters (as a separate device) that Monta supports?
An example setup,
El. box --- MID meter --- Tesla charger.
So it would still be possible to use Tesla charger and get electricity reimbursement?

Hi Casper, Can du give an update on the dialog regarding Tesla Wall charger 3.gen?
Casper Rasmussen
We are still waiting for Tesla.
Right now there is a community which have reversed engineered the api, but its local on wifi and not public meaning we cannot base our solution on it yet.
Is there progress in this "dialogue"?
Can you tell anything on timeframe for including the Tesla gen3 wall box?
How far are you on this?
Jakob Paikin
The older Wall Charger is not connected (as you know). But you can remote-control the car (Tesla), which also allows for starting/stopping charging.
