Integration with home assistant would be a great improvement, because it would enable to automate more complex senarios than a fixed charging schedule (a nice new freature, thanks).
Thanks for the great work

At the moment our own home assistant integration is not planned. However, have a look at the work done by Nick and community (see comments below): github.com/nickknissen/hass-monta

Just a question. What are the plans and ETA for the HA integration
Nick Nissen
Untill an official integration is released i have started to develop my own. github.com/nickknissen/hass-monta.
Currently supports a start/stop switch a sensors for Cable Plugged In and a sensor for state.
Looking for feedback and testers other than my self.

Amazing 🤩

When I get back from holiday I will test it out, about 10 days. Could really do with reboot as well, but api doesn’t support it yet.
Could you do the start/stop as services, if not I can contribute.
Nick Nissen
Currently its a implemented as a switch, but i gladly accept contributions for additional features and bug fixes.

Had a chew on this, I'm not sure adding it as a service adds very much to your start/stop switch. It would just remove the need for the switch.
Back from holiday now, so I'll run it alongside my existing NodeRed automation and see how it goes.

It would be great for charge point owners using the app for charging their own vehicle to be able to start/stop/schedule charges automatically based on some inputs in the automation system.
In the first iteration it could be solved with a publicly accessible API and then the community could build an integration based on that.

The full level of detail is not yet defined but the plan is to have an MVP in spring ready. Maybe even a home assistant plug-in

Great. I have chosen not to let Monta administer my Zaptec Go charger because of the lack of public API.
I use the Zaptec API but cannot get refund when it becomes possible again during the summer. I would rather use Monta

Or just release the API for comunity to build the integration
Simon Gjøtrup Krebs
That would speed up the process
Christian Weinberger
Public API will be the first step.
