Would love to be able to define which hours every day my chager is allowed to charge. The current smart charge doesnt seem very transparent about this.
Ideally i would love to have a 24/7 diagram where i could put in allowed or denied state for the charger for every single hour. This would help not charging during peak power hours where the price is high.
Something like the picture attached.

This feature has arrived for beta users. I look forward to trying it. Thanks

I have cheap rates between 12:30 and 4:30 and an "always on" schedule would help a great deal as this system is not reflected in the prices that the Monta app sees. Currently I have to reset this every day. This is true of many people on the same tarriff as me.

Hi John.
Could i get you to elaborate so i can better understand your use case?
Is it that you would like to have a predefined scheduled charge everyday between 12:30 and 4:30, so that when you plug in the cable to your charger it will automatically schedule a charge in that time span?
Also, can i ask where you are located? We are trying to get a better overview of tariffs in general and how we might include them across European countries.

UK. Octopus energy have a taffic called "Go" which is 1/4 the price between 12:30am and 4:30am. An overight economy fixed tarrif. Their system talks to some chargers and cars, but not ours, so I need to schedule a regular "attempt to start" at 12:30am

Got it.
You can use the scheduled charge feature today for that purpose, but as you mention you would have to start it from the app every time.
However, we are currently designing a solution that enable this settings to launch as an "auto start". Meaning when you get home and plug your cable into to your charger we will plan your charge to automatically start with the settings you choose.
We expect to put this into development next month.

What is the status of this feature. I really miss this. I have to EV's with different battery sizes and I sorely miss the ability to define in which hours in a day the charger should start and stop. e.g. 9-17 21-06 etc.

The point of smartcharge is in my opinion that Monta makes the best possible choice...
But I fully agree that a weekly schedule of "End times" would be good, so you can decide which days the car MUST be ready and charged up, ready to go.
