Fuse protection enables a faster and safer charging experience. When turned on, we balance the current to your charger to prevent surges and minimize the risk of tripping the main fuse. This ensures that you always charge at the maximum power available.

Hi
When I try to connect my Saveeye I get an error message saying that it can’t find the device. I have tried with two different devices and both gets the same error. They are connected perfectly in the Saveeye app.
Can you help?
The attempt was tried on charger serial SPA_0525 and SPA_0178
Luka Harambasic
Thank you for the feedback Andreas, we are looking into it. I'll let you know once we know more.
Andreas
Hi Luka
Sounds good. Let me know if you need any other information ☺️
Luka Harambasic
Hi Andreas, could you try again, we released a new version that should fix this. Thanks a lot :)
Andreas
Hi Luka
It connects now with out a problem, but is says under Solar Charge that 6kW is not enough for charging.
Can you take a look at why? We have tried starting a charge and it starts and stops.
Charger SPA_0525.
We think it is charging but it says often that it stops.

And how do we disable the Saveeye connection on charger SPA_0178??
I typed the serial number for the wrong Saveeye meter 😅
Luka Harambasic
Hi Andreas, sorry for the late response.
As it says there is not enough surplus for SolarCharge, we are investigating this with Saveeye. We thought something got fixed but I just checked your values again and it seems of what we get from the meter. I'll let you know once we know more.
And regarding the Saveeye integration with SPA_0178, in the next two weeks an update will be released where you should be able to remove it manually, otherwise I can remove it manually.
Cheers,
Luka

Also says not supported in Saveeye
Luka Harambasic
Hi Jonas, could you provide me with some more information? Do you mean it says not supported in the Saveeye app? How are you trying to integrate the Saveeye device?
Jonas Justesen
I think you said easee home not supported the next few months?
Luka Harambasic
Yes that's right, we rely on one technical implementation to make this possible. But we are looking into making it work with all charge points.
Luka Harambasic
Yes, Easee Home won't be supported for now. I'll let you know when something changes.

Under fuse protection: "Saveeye Not supported"
In Saveeye app it says Connected but there is no data
Luka Harambasic
Thank you Bo! Will look in Monday into it, I'll update you here.

Any update?
Luka Harambasic
Hi Jonas,
could you find your charge point model here: monta.com/uk/supported-charge-points/
Than check if it says that SolarCharge works on your charge point?
Could you also let me know which charge point model from which brand you have?
Jonas Justesen
It is not the solarcharge but fuse protection. I’m having a Easee home and also Saveeye installed.
Luka Harambasic
Hi Jonas,
that was a mistake and my end, I should have checked in the survey which charge point model you have. Right now Fuse protection also only works on charge points where SolarCharge works. Both isn't compatible with your Easee home charge point, but we will release a version where also Easee charge points will be compatible. Latest Q1/2025.
I'm sorry that I didn't check this beforehand.

What a shame, i have to wait so long. I installed a Saveeye just to be able to test this 🙁
